Catalog Advanced Category based Search Add-on
On the advanced search page, “search by category” is not an option by default, but it will be very helpful to have category based search. If you would like to have this add-on, please submit your request. We will add this Magento add-on to filter the products by category in Advanced search module

This add-on will filter the products by category in Advanced search in addition to other selected attributes.
